Akani FC is a football academy based in the heart of Dieplsoot, Johannesburg, South Africa. The football academy has been running for over 10 years with each year offering more growth and development. The academy is home to hundreds of boys all with the hope of one day persuing their dreams. SportLife is a company committed to the development of sport in South Africa and in the past four years we have been able to support and partner with Akani.

The Akani Foundation has become the beacon of hope in the impoverished town of Diepsloot. The reason for this is that it offers a place where the kids of the community can come to and feel safe, away from the harsh realities and negative influences that the streets continue to offer.

We aim to bridge the gap between Akani FC and the more established academies across South Africa. To achieve this we need the resources to nurture and enhance the raw talent of these kids.
